We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Med-Legal Editor/Writer - Report Builder to join our growing team. In this role, you will conduct in-depth research on medical topics, analyze the medical aspects of legal cases, review medical records, and create clear and concise reports. Conduct thorough research on medical and healthcare topics.
Learn and apply basic medical terminology.
Evaluate and assess the medical aspects of legal cases.
Examine and interpret medical records.
Create detailed reports and summaries of medical data.
Collaborate with medical and legal experts to ensure accurate reporting.
Adhere to professional and ethical principles.
Qualifications:
Strong English communication skills (required).
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Critical analysis skills for evaluating medical and legal information.
Expertise in reviewing medical records.
Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office software.
Basic computer skills.
Preferred (but not required):
Experience as a consultant, particularly with med-legal/QME impairment ratings.
Educational background in communication, writing, business, or marketing.
Previous experience as an educator in the medical, legal, or research fields.
Knowledge of the workers' compensation industry.
Work Environment:
This position is currently remote, but candidates should be prepared to transition to on-site work in the near future.
