We are seeking a detail-oriented Med-Legal Biller to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring timely submissions, and tracking payments for our med-legal services. You’ll play a key part in helping our company provide essential support services to physicians and their QME practices. Complete and submit bills in a timely fashion.
Ensure that bills are received by insurance companies.
Track payments and provide regular reports on billing status.
Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any billing issues.
Qualifications:
Reliable transportation.
Ability to multi-task, especially while on hold.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Google and Microsoft Office software.
Professional and courteous demeanor.
Preferred (but not required):
Experience in billing, particularly med-legal/QME billing.
Educational background in communication, writing, business, or marketing.
Knowledge of the workers' compensation industry.
Work Environment:
This position is currently remote, but candidates should be prepared to transition to on-site work in the near future.
