SITE MANAGER (CONSTRUCTION BUILDING)

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee daily operations on site, ensuring that work is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and control project costs and budget, including labor and material expenses.
  • Team Coordination:
  • Supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
  • Conduct regular site meetings to discuss progress, issues, and safety concerns.
  • Allocate tasks and manage workflow to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and compliance with specifications.
  • Address and resolve any defects or issues that arise during construction.
  • Health and Safety:
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure that all personnel are trained in safety procedures and emergency protocols.
  • Communication:
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and changes.
  • Manage and resolve any disputes or issues that arise on site.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety inspections.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project status, including budget and timeline updates.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with local building codes, regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Obtain and manage necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
