QC OPERATOR
To monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials for a company. Conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and overseeing production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specification, conducting visual and measurement tests and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
2.Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests.
3.Approves finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
4.Collaborate with production staff to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
5.Monitor and maintain quality control records and reports.
6.Keeps measurements equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
7.Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
8.Updates job knowledge by participant in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
9.Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
10.Participation in continuous improvement programs such as 5S program, yield improvement projects etc.
11.Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
1.High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in quality control or a related field is preferred.
2.Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role is an asset.
3.Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and document defects.
4.Familiarity with quality control principles, practices, and standards.
5.Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
6.Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
8.Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
7.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
