Production Planning & Procurement Officer (Japanese Speaking)
Job Descriptions
Benefits:
- To administer day to day production planning and procurement activities, optimize sourcing and procurement of all goods and services consumed by achieving best in quality and cost.
- To constantly execute procurement strategies to identify opportunities for improvement and potential cost down.
- To implement best practices in procurement that call upon minimum operational cost internally and externally, establishing and maintaining good relationship with suppliers that are in the company’s interest.
- To administer the scheduling and timeliness of production process to ensure the company meets the datelines.
- To plan for production schedule using internal computerized MRP system and monitoring production schedule and ensure materials are adequate to achieve zero production delay, and to maintain a computerized procurement and production planning system where necessary.
- To attend and when requested to supervise stock take inventories activities.
- To plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience working in procurement or production planning.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English
- Must be able to speak & write Japanese fluently.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be computer literate and strong in data analytical.
- Must be a creative, motivated and flexible team player; able to carry tasks and projects to completion.
