Finance Manager
Essential Responsibilities:
· To perform and oversee full set accounting including taxation, cashflow and budgeting.
· Financial Analysis & Reporting: Oversee monthly cost analysis for company-wide and division-specific operations, ensuring accurate reflection of performance, profitability, and endorsement of detailed internal expenses trend analysis.
· Financial Documentation Oversight: Review and validate month-end financial statements, presentation decks, and profitability analysis.
· Budgeting & Performance Monitoring: Manage company budgeting, monitor performance forecasts oversee fee negotiations, product costing, material consumption controls, and maintain the accounting system for specific entities.
· Operational Cost Management: Ensure accurate operational performance reporting, optimize cost recovery via price negotiations, and scrutinize material, labor, and overhead variances to control production costs for specified entities.
· Audit & Inventory Control Management: Assume responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the audit process, including planning, execution, and reporting.
· Team Development & Succession Planning.
Requirements:
· Degree in Finance/Accounting and preferably with professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc)
· Minimum 8 years of experience in finance & accounting within the manufacturing industry
· Ability to build and lead a team
· Strong sense of responsibility, independence, and motivation
· Ability to provide insightful insights and recommendations for improvement.
· A problem solver who is able to work independently.
· Good analytical skills.
· Good interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate and coordinate amongst all stakeholders and with external contacts.
· Able to communicate in trilingual languages due to regional reporting and customer dealings.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
