FAI Technician
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Pay: From RM2,200.00 per month
Benefits:
- Responsible on performing FAl quality Inspection & Measurment (Manual, CMM & Faro Arm)
- Conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) to verify compliance with required specifications.
- Perform and verify all internal calibrations for jigs, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ensure all measurement tools are properly maintained and calibrated to guarantee accurate results.
- Generate NCD reports to ensure appropriate disposition of non-conforming products and share via outlook for FAI/NPI Engineer further action.
- Asses on-hold material and perform administration of internal claims either for FAI Inspection or calibration.
- Follow up and work closely with FA Engineer and Internal Team for closure NCD especially for corrective and preventive actions to ensure MRB smoothly.
- Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records of all FAl processes.
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to address discrepancies found during inspections.
- Ensuring compliance with company quality standards and customer requirements.
- Performing verification for FAl Incoming products within a day to avoid delays in the production area.
- Maintaining good 5S practices in the QA Lab and workplace, ensuring that all activities align with company policies and regulations.
- Performing any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- At least 2 years hands-on experience in handling CMM machines and various type of measuring equipment.
- Experience in jig/fixture and equipment Calibration
- Candidate with experience in handling Faro ARM equipment will be advantage
- At least 2 years' work experience in an industrial assembly/manufacturing environment
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, engineering/manufacturing drawing & sketches, specifications using knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance standards
- Certificate/Diploma in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Quality) or equivalent
- Preferably working experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance or equivalent
- Oral and written communication in English is a must
- Good computer literacy preferred, in example Microsoft Office
- Able to identify and assess both dimensional and cosmetic defects
- Detail oriented
- Discipline, with positive and proactive working attitude
