Costing Assistant

Position Overview: Costing Assistant is responsible for managing daily accounts payable operations, including processing invoices and resolving vendor discrepancies. This role ensures timely receipt of supplier documentation to meet month-end closing deadlines and collaborates with intercompany teams, both locally and in Thailand, for billing coordination. Key tasks include maintaining accurate supplier data, validating invoices for pricing and charges, supporting month-end cost verification, and generating accurate financial reports. Additionally, the Costing Assistant reconciles revenue and costs and assists with ad hoc tasks as needed by the supervisor.
Responsibility and Authority
  • Mange day to day accounts payable operations, including processing invoices and collaborating with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Follow up all supporting documents from supplier to meet month end closing deadline.
  • Work closely with intercompany person in charge (Local & Thailand) for the intercompany billing.
  • Maintaining supplier master data and to ensure the price maintained are in accordance with the latest quotation.
  • Validate supplier invoice such as price, route and other ad hoc charges.
  • Support the month end closing for cost verification.
  • Generate report and review the accuracy of the report.
  • Reconciliation of Revenue & Cost.
  • Support superior any ad hoc task from time to time.
Minimum Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent, any field.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Capable of multi-tasks.
  • Good command in Mandarin, Malay and English.
  • Proficient excellent computer skills in MS office (especially Excel).
  • Possess own transportation.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
