As a Showroom Sales Associate in our automotive spare parts retail store, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding the right spare parts, and contributing to the overall success of our store. Your knowledge of automotive parts and enthusiasm for assisting customers will be key to ensuring a positive shopping experience. Role & Responsibilities 1. Customer Assistance: · Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their automotive spare parts needs. · Listen attentively to customer inquiries and provide detailed information about available products. · Offer recommendations and alternatives when necessary to meet customer requirements. 2. Product Knowledge: · Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of automotive spare parts, including their features, compatibility, and usage. · Stay updated on the latest automotive industry trends and product offerings. 3. Inventory Management: · Monitor inventory levels in the showroom and communicate restocking needs to the inventory team. · Assist with regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy. 4. Sales and Upselling: · Actively engage in sales activities, promoting featured products and special offers. · Cross-sell related products to maximize sales opportunities. · Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and goals. 5. Customer Service Excellence: · Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally. · Handle returns and exchanges efficiently, following store policies. 6. Cash Handling: · Process customer payments accurately and securely using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems. · Maintain proper cash-handling procedures and adhere to store security protocols. 7. Visual Merchandising: · Ensure that the showroom is visually appealing by arranging products neatly and maintaining cleanliness. 8. Documentation: · Complete sales transactions, invoices, and receipts accurately. · Maintain records of sales activities and customer interactions. 9. Product Education: · Offer basic technical guidance to customers regarding product installation and usage. · Provide product literature and manuals as needed. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Proven experience in retail sales, particularly in automotive spare parts or related industries, is mandatory. · Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts and their applications. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. · Customer-focused with a positive attitude. · Basic computer skills for using point-of-sale systems. · Physical fitness for lifting and moving heavy parts, if required. · A valid driver's license may be preferred for certain positions.
