The role in brief: The Network Operation Center (NOC) Administrator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the network and systems infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. They are also tasked with troubleshooting and resolving network issues, as well as addressing customer inquiries and requests related to network services. Your Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain the network and systems infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and other network devices and equipment
Respond to network alerts and outages, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
Coordinate with other IT teams and vendors for troubleshooting and issue resolution
Provide technical support to customers regarding network services, including connectivity, performance, and security
Document network incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in a centralized ticketing system
Participate in on-call rotation to address network emergencies outside of regular business hours
Requirements Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Network Operation Center (NOC) environment
CCNA or equivalent network certification
Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.)
Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment
Proficient in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
