NETWORK ENGINEER
******UNITED STATES SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED*******
Job Description:
Plans, designs, and implements network managements systems to monitor, diagnose, control, and measure performance of multiple communication networks
Identifies, analyzes, and recommends new network administrative systems for entire networks to ensure accurate network inventory and timely implementation
Seeking someone with a strong background in designing and implementing Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP Networking is needed
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to design network architecture based on the results of a survey and the requirements
Must be able to install the designed network in a deployed environment
Have operational experience maintaining network infrastructure
Must have knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching, and network architecture planning. Ability to configure and manage Cisco ASA appliances
Capable of preparing and presenting briefings
Desired Qualifications:
Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
Do D IAT Level II or greater
Experience with Do D IT security requirements
Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, MCSE
Education Requirements:
BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
Security Requirements:
Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to maintain
Travel Requirements:
Effort will take place in Kuwait. Candidate must be able to travel OCONUS
Physical Requirements:
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Communicating with others to exchange information.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
