The Industrial & Water Services division of Enva provide high end environmental/engineering solutions involving directly employed engineers, technician and operators, large amount of bespoke and complex equipment to waste management and water and waste treatment.
We are seeking an experienced project/contract manager with a technical engineering background to join our team in taking ownership and responsibility of projects ranging from €25K to €1m in value,
This role requires initiative, drive and dedication to ensure that the business unit grows and develops and offers significant potential for rapid professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the effective and efficient management of projects, making sure that the proposed plan is adhered to timeline, budget and scope
Define project management responsibilities with all key stakeholders
Operational deliverables: ensure client scope requirements is met inclusive of management of contractors.
Ensure effective program management inclusive of sub contractors installation targets to specific programs
Manage the collection, processing and overall management of hydrometric data.
Ensure that the correct selection is carried out of hydrometric equipment
Understanding of water treatment equipment and processes
Profitability: management of overall costs, these include subcontractor internal costs versus the management of contracted revenue maximising margins in the process
Health and Safety - generation of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), Project Supervisor Construction Standards (PSCS) and Project supervisor design phase (PSDP)
Ensure compliance and quality standards is met in every aspect of projects undertaken
Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies and other stake holders, monitoring projects budgets and programmes.
Support in developing the sales pipeline, meeting and developing opportunities with new prospects and existing clients
Preparation of proposals and profit and loss accounts for new projects with existing customers
Assist in driving forward the development of new service offerings within Enva.
Research and support new initiatives to maintain Enva’s position as an innovator and a forward thinker in the waste and water sectors within Ireland and the UK.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Primary degree or related qualification in the fields of Engineering, technical, environmental, civil at a minimum level 7
Demonstrable experience with a minimum of 3-5 years’ project management, contract management, managing budgets, deliverables and safety or similar discipline
Understanding of hydrometric equipment
Understanding/Knowledge of Uisce Eireann waste water - desirable
Sector specific experience in the Water/Wastewater industry - desirable
