Our client, a leading Main Contractor is seeking an MEP Project Manager to join their team based on site in Longford. They are looking for a candidate with relevant experience in main contracting. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and oversee the design and execution of MEP systems.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to seamlessly integrate MEP systems into the overall project design.
Lead and manage MEP teams, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Track project budgets, timelines, and milestones, making necessary adjustments to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
Ensure all MEP installations adhere to local codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
Carry out inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, verifying full operational readiness before handover.
Compile comprehensive project documentation, including progress updates, change orders, and final handover packages.

Requirements

Relevant third level degree.
10+ years of experience, ideally with a primary contractor.
Experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects, particularly in Mission Critical, Pharma, Data Centres, and Hi-Tech sectors, is preferred.
Chartered status or on the path to chartership.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Advanced IT skills.
