Trial Station Lead
Major Tasks
Leading the trial station team: managing and leading a team of researchers and technicians who conduct field trials. This involves setting goals and objectives, assigning tasks, and providing guidance,
Provide SOP for managing trial and budget and support to team members.
Managing trial station operations: managing the day-to-day operations of the trial station, including budgeting, procurement, and maintenance of equipment and facilities. A total 80-100Global, Regional & local country trial to be manage per year
Develop partnerships and collaborations: Develop partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders, such as universities, research institutions, local Ministry of agriculture, Key farmer, GAPOKTAN. Facilitate the transfer of technology and knowledge between organizations, and create a culture of innovation and collaboration
Ensuring regulatory compliance: ensuring that all trials conducted in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines. This involves maintaining accurate records, submitting reports to regulatory agencies, and ensuring that all personnel are trained on relevant regulations and protocols. v Ensuring safety and compliance: ensuring the safety of trial staff and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards (internal bayer and Indonesian Government) and ensure that all trial activities are conducted in an environmentally responsible manner.
Collaborating with internal teams: collaborating with other team market Development, marketing, and commercial, to ensure that trial results are incorporated into product development plans and marketing strategies. v Collaboration with Other Station: Collaboration with other Station in SEAP cluster for developing standard for station, management, and communication with FS in cluster for Trial Station development v Develop training programs for Internal Bayer: provide technical training on new products or formulations, safety training, new technology training, Product development training. Coordination with local Marketing, Commercial and MD for training objectives.
Develop a technology transfer strategy: Develop a clear strategy for technology transfer that is aligned with the Bayer overall goals and objectives. Identifying areas of expertise within the trial station, developing intellectual property policies, and identifying potential partners or collaborators.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical knowledge: excellent and practical advanced knowledge in pesticide, pest and disease, and sustainable agriculture
Bachelor graduate, preferable hold MSc. (Hons) Agriculture major in Crop Protection or related discipline.
Good knowledge in crop production and management including sustainable agriculture.
Proficient in English (written and oral)
Strong computer (Application and function in Windows 10) & Data Management tools
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong relation building & understanding of registration activities
At least 7 years of experience in actual field, laboratory and screenhouse trial work in crop protection
