Ticketing Executive

Key Responsibilities:
Ticketing Operations:
  • Booking: Accurately process and confirm flight, train, and bus ticket reservations in accordance with customer requests.
  • Issuing: Prepare and issue travel tickets and itineraries, ensuring all details are correct and compliant with company and industry standards.
  • Modifications: Handle ticket changes, cancellations, and rebookings as required, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
Reporting:
  • Data Collection: Gather and compile data related to ticketing activities, including booking volumes, cancellations, and revenue.
  • Report Generation: Create and maintain regular reports on ticketing performance, including sales reports, trend analysis, and customer feedback.
  • Analysis: Analyze ticketing data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management.
System Management:
  • Database Maintenance: Update and maintain ticketing systems and databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • System Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues related to ticketing software or systems promptly.
Customer Support:
  • Assistance: Provide support to customers with ticketing inquiries and issues, offering timely and effective resolutions.
  • Feedback: Collect and report customer feedback related to ticketing services for continuous improvement.
Compliance and Documentation:
  • Adherence: Ensure all ticketing processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation for all ticketing transactions and reports.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in travel and tourism are a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in ticketing and reservations, preferably within the travel industry.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in ticketing systems and software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate and interpret reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with ticketing processes, industry regulations, and reporting standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Experience:
  • Travel Ticketing: 3 years (Required)
  • Ticketing Reports: 3 years (Required)
  • Travel Industry: 3 years (Required)
