Key Responsibilities:
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement lesson plans based on the school’s curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, grammar, and literature.
- Use diverse teaching methods, including discussions, storytelling, role-playing, and multimedia resources, to make lessons engaging.
- Incorporate creative assignments, reading projects, and group activities to stimulate interest in English language and literature.
- Classroom Management and Student Engagement:
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
- Establish classroom routines that support discipline, mutual respect, and collaboration.
- Adapt lessons to cater to different learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students feel supported.
- Student Assessment and Feedback:
- Prepare, administer, and grade assessments, quizzes, and projects to monitor students’ progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance on students' assignments and class participation.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and grades.
- Individualized Support and Enrichment:
- Identify students who may need additional support and create tailored strategies to help them succeed.
- Encourage advanced students to explore supplementary reading and writing exercises for skill enhancement.
- Parental Communication:
- Regularly communicate with parents/guardians about their child’s academic progress, behavior, and engagement.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide insights into student development.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methods and educational trends by attending workshops, seminars, and training.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the English department to share resources and teaching strategies.
