Tandoor Chef (Commi-2)
Job Requirements
- Preparing food for service, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station
- Assist in food preparation and presentation
- Stock and restock kitchen items as needed
- Ensure the kitchen and food areas are clean and safe
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare all basic food items for both a la carte and buffet.
- Helps to prepare orders according to the standard procedures.
- Picked up food requisition from the store and arranged all the items according to the FIFO system.
- Adhere to all recipes, methods and instructions from the Executive Chef.
- Ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained.
- Ensure that the preparation and presentation of food complies with the standards.
- Responsible for the production, preparation and presentation of all food items, in the assigned function, to ensure highest quality at all times.
- Cleaning and tidying up the walk-in chiller for fresh items.
- Adheres strictly to the cleanliness of the kitchen area as well as equipment and machines.
- Maintain proper personal appearance.
- Adheres strictly to the standard recipes for the various dishes and avoids wastage.
- Checking and refilling the buffet items.
- To cut and clear food items from the buffet
- Pay attention to the safety, security and energy-saving rules.
- To avoid wastage of food items.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Tandoor: 2 years (Required)
- Food preparation: 3 years (Required)
- Food production: 2 years (Required)
