Supervisor - UPVC Fabrication
Job Overview:
The Supervisor in UPVC Fabrication is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the fabrication process. This includes supervising staff, ensuring quality standards are met, managing production schedules, and ensuring that safety and efficiency standards are maintained. The supervisor plays a key role in troubleshooting issues, optimizing production workflows, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: ₹15,001.69 - ₹28,520.44 per month

This includes supervising staff, ensuring quality standards are met, managing production schedules, and ensuring that safety and efficiency standards are maintained. The supervisor plays a key role in troubleshooting issues, optimizing production workflows, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision and Management:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the fabrication team to meet production targets.
- Assign tasks to workers and monitor their progress.
- Ensure all team members are trained in using machinery and following safety protocols.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Plan and organize daily production schedules to meet deadlines.
- Ensure resources such as materials, labor, and equipment are available and efficiently utilized.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor production to ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of fabricated items and processes to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Identify defects or non-conformities and take corrective actions.
- Process Optimization:
- Review and improve fabrication processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Implement best practices for production and maintenance.
- Propose and implement new production methods or technologies where appropriate.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all health and safety standards are adhered to within the workshop.
- Conduct safety audits and ensure that all team members are following correct procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Resolve technical issues that arise during the production process.
- Identify bottlenecks or issues affecting production and work to resolve them promptly.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on production output, efficiency, and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including equipment maintenance logs, production schedules, and employee performance.
- Customer Liaison:
- Work with the sales and customer service teams to ensure that customer requirements are met.
- Address any concerns or feedback from clients regarding product quality or delivery timelines.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in UPVC fabrication or a related industry, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of UPVC fabrication processes, machinery, and tools.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
