Job Summary: We are looking for a driven Sales Representative with experience in the building materials industry to manage sales activities, develop strong client relationships with architects and interior designers, and support the team in achieving revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the industry and the ability to deliver on sales targets. Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition:
Identify potential clients, including architects, interior designers, contractors, and builders, and establish strong relationships.
Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and site visits to build trust and win new business.
Follow up on leads and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
Sales Targets:
Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management.
Assist in creating proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with new and existing clients.
Field Sales & Face-to-Face Meetings:
Actively participate in physical meetings with clients to better understand their needs and demonstrate the company's product range.
Attend industry events and trade shows to increase the company’s presence and network.
Market Knowledge:
Stay updated on the latest trends in the building materials industry and competitor activities.
Provide feedback to the sales team and management regarding market conditions and customer needs.
Sales Reporting:
Regularly update the CRM system with client information, lead status, and sales progress.
Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports to the management team.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Sales Head and other team members to ensure alignment with the overall sales strategy.
Coordinate with the marketing and product teams to support promotional activities and product launches.
Key Qualifications:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the building materials industry.
Client Network: Existing connections with architects, interior designers, and contractors will be an advantage.
Sales Skills: Strong sales skills with the ability to close deals and manage client relationships effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to present products and services.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with building materials such as Plywood, Laminates, Veneer, MDF, etc.
Ability to manage multiple clients and sales cycles simultaneously.
