Monitoring & Evaluation & Documentation Expert
About the Role This position is dedicated to enhancing program impact through effective monitoring and evaluation. The candidate will lead the design and implementation of M&E frameworks, managing data collection and analysis to accurately document project activities. Responsibilities also include creating knowledge products and training materials, ensuring databases are accurate and compliant with donor standards, and developing comprehensive documentation for stakeholders. Collaborating with the management team will be key to aligning outcomes with ISRA’s mission, while also fostering open communication with stakeholders and supporting capacity-building efforts. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement M&E frameworks to assess program effectiveness and impact.
Lead data collection, analysis, and reporting for the documentation of project activities.
Support in the development of knowledge products and training materials.
Maintain databases of all project activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with donor requirements.
Assist in creating comprehensive project documentation for stakeholders and partners.
Collaborate with the management team to ensure project outcomes are in line with ISRA’s objectives.
Provide M&E support for capacity-building initiatives, ensuring quality control and learning.
Facilitate stakeholder communication to maintain relationships and promote transparency.
Ensure project compliance with all regulatory and donor policies.
Any other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Social Sciences, or related fields.
2-5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and reporting.
Strong experience in developing and implementing M&E frameworks for development projects.
Proficiency in data collection, statistical analysis, and M&E software.
Fluency in English and local language (Hindi & Punjabi) is essential.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
Master’s degree in relevant fields.
Experience working with donor-funded projects and maintaining donor relationships.
Excellent communication, documentation, and organisational skills.
Knowledge of participatory evaluation methods and impact assessment tools.
Knowledge of Tableau / SPSS / SQL / VB.
Strong attention to detail and ability to present data in clear and impactful ways.
