Junior CCTV Technician

Job Summary:
The Junior CCTV Technician assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of surveillance systems. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to learn and develop skills in CCTV technology and security systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation Support: Assist in the installation of CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related equipment as directed by senior technicians.
Maintenance: Participate in routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure proper functioning of surveillance systems.
Troubleshooting Assistance: Help diagnose and troubleshoot basic issues with CCTV systems under supervision.
Documentation: Maintain records of installations and service activities, including documenting system configurations and client interactions.
Client Interaction: Support senior technicians in communicating with clients to understand their security needs and assist in addressing inquiries.
Equipment Management: Assist in managing inventory of tools and equipment required for installations and repairs.
Learning and Development: Continuously learn about new technologies and best practices in CCTV installation and maintenance.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: Some experience in electrical,electronics or technical roles is preferred, but not required.
Skills:
Basic understanding of CCTV systems and components.
Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in installations.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
