ROLE SUMMARY The IT Admin (Network & E-commerce Site Support) will be responsible for maintaining the company's network infrastructure and providing technical support for the e-commerce website. This role involves ensuring the seamless operation of the company's IT systems, troubleshooting network issues, and optimizing the performance of the e-commerce platform. KEY RESULT AREAS:
E-commerce Site Support:
Manage the technical performance of the e-commerce website, ensuring optimal load times, uptime, and security.
Collaborate with the development team to resolve technical issues and implement site updates.
Manage integration of third-party services (payment gateways, shipping solutions, etc.) with the e-commerce platform.
Monitor the site for performance issues and security vulnerabilities, ensuring regular data backups and disaster recovery plans.
IT Communication Tools & ERP Management:
Oversee the management and administration of IT communication tools such as Microsoft Outlook, ensuring proper configuration and troubleshooting email issues.
Manage the company’s ERP system, including user access, troubleshooting, and integration with other software solutions.
Provide technical support for other office productivity tools like Microsoft Office 365, collaboration platforms, and document management systems.
Ensure that IT systems are optimized for smooth communication and collaboration across the company.
· Network Administration:
Manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi systems.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure network uptime.
Implement and manage network security protocols to protect company data and systems.
Perform routine maintenance and updates for network hardware and software.
Provide support for office IT equipment, including servers, printers, and Vo IP systems.
Technical Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, IT communication tools, and technical support procedures.
Generate regular reports on network performance, website analytics, and tool usage to identify areas for improvement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE SPECIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. EXPERIENCE: · 3-5 years of experience in network administration, IT support, and management of communication tools. · Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity. · Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Woo Commerce) and basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script). · Proficiency in managing email systems (Microsoft Outlook), ERP systems, and IT communication tools. · Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities across IT infrastructure and software systems. SKILLSET: · Strong communication skills to support cross-functional teams and non-technical staff. · Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. · Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach. · Capable of working independently as well as within a team.
