Application Administrator
- Windows/Linux OS installation and basic configuration & troubleshooting with different flavors (like Cent OS, RHEL, Debian, Ubuntu)
- Knowledge on User & group management.
- Experience in Load balancing on Apache Tomcat web server like mod_jk, Mod_cluster
- Rich experience on Web server's administration includes JBoss, Apache/Tomcat, etc.
- Knowledge on Installation & configuration of LVM and RAID
- Experience in Email administration (Zimbra)
- Good exposure in Implementation for FTP server on Linux
- Working experience in monitoring tools (Nagios, ngnix, Zabbix)
- tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
- Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
- To be involved in designing, implementing, securing and maintaining the computer systems for its test, development and production environment.
- To identify and analyze the issues that hamper the performance of the system, and to work in close coordination with the product development team and recommend the solutions for the issues
- To be involved in writing and modifying scripts for application deployments as well as system monitoring
