Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage the reservation system and ensure seating efficiency.
- Assist guests with special requests and seating arrangements.
- Provide accurate wait times and maintain a waiting list during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as managing phone calls and taking reservations.
- Promote the restaurant’s special events, promotions, and menu items.
- Previous experience as a hostess or in a similar customer service role in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of reservation systems and POS software is a plus.
- A friendly and positive attitude with a passion for hospitality.
