Job Summary: The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This role is essential for delivering high-quality meals and exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Key Responsibilities:
Supervision: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Staff Management: Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, scheduling shifts and ensuring adequate coverage.
Quality Control: Ensure that all food served meets the restaurant’s quality standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
Inventory Management: Assist with ordering supplies and managing inventory to minimize waste and ensure availability of ingredients.
Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning and seasonal offerings.
Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, adhering to hygiene standards.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve any kitchen-related issues, including staff conflicts and equipment malfunctions.
Customer Focus: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate food service.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory role or similar position.
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety regulations.
