The Gold Loan Executive is responsible for managing the entire loan process, from evaluating gold quality and quantity to loan disbursement and repayment collection. The executive must ensure excellent customer service, achieve sales targets, and maintain a high level of accuracy in loan documentation and records. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction & Loan Processing:
Greet and assist customers looking to avail loans against gold.
Evaluate the quality, weight, and purity of gold accurately.
Provide customers with accurate loan valuations based on gold purity and market rates.
Explain loan terms and conditions, including interest rates, repayment schedules, and any associated fees.
Ensure proper documentation and verification of customer details for KYC compliance.
Handle the loan disbursement process swiftly and efficiently.
Loan Portfolio Management:
Monitor and follow up on loan repayments to minimize delinquencies.
Ensure regular updates to customers on repayment schedules and due dates.
Manage Non-Performing Assets (NPA) by ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of overdue accounts.
Coordinate with the collection team to recover overdue loans.
Customer Service:
Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries and issues.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to foster loyalty.
Guide customers on loan renewal or closure procedures.
Sales & Business Development:
Drive sales and achieve monthly targets for loan disbursements and gold loan portfolio growth.
Promote gold loans to existing and new customers, explaining benefits and services.
Participate in marketing campaigns to generate leads and increase gold loan business.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling other financial products.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory guidelines and internal company policies, including gold loan limits and KYC/AML requirements.
Maintain accurate and updated records of all loan transactions.
Prepare daily and monthly reports on gold loan activities and performance.
Branch Operations Support:
Assist in the smooth running of the branch by supporting colleagues and reporting to the branch manager.
Keep updated with market trends and gold prices to provide accurate valuations.
