GIS Officer
GIS officers engage in a range of field activities to support various projects. Key tasks include:
1. Data Collection and Surveying: Gathering spatial data using GPS for land use, infrastructure, and environmental monitoring.
2. Ground Truthing: Verifying satellite data by comparing it with actual ground conditions.
3. Environmental Monitoring: Tracking natural resources, deforestation, and urban expansion.
4. Asset Mapping: Locating utilities like water pipelines and electricity grids.
5. Disaster Management: Assessing disaster-affected areas for real-time data and risk mapping.
6. Land Use Inspections: Ensuring land use compliance and zoning regulations.
7. Wildlife Surveys: Monitoring wildlife populations and habitats for conservation.
8. Community Mapping: Collaborating with local communities to map resources and infrastructure.
9. Any other related activity of GIS Work .
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
