Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Freight Broker to join our logistics team. The role involves managing the full freight cycle, building relationships with shippers and carriers, and ensuring timely deliveries. We also offer a work-from-home opportunity on a commission basis for interested candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers.
Negotiate freight rates and manage carrier contracts.
Source reliable transportation partners to meet customer delivery requirements.
Manage the full freight lifecycle, from order confirmation to delivery.
Provide daily updates on freight status to customers.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including freight bills and invoices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Freight Broker or similar role in the logistics industry.
Strong network of active carriers and shippers.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and clients simultaneously.
Familiarity with freight management software and tools.
