Designation: Controller of Examinations Reporting to: Chairman / Group Director Location: Indore (M.P) Institute Name: PIMR, Indore (M.P) Duties and Responsibilities ● The Controller of Examinations shall be the principal officer-in-charge of the conduct of examinations and test's of the university and declaration of their results. ● Conducting exams for All Programs of studies offered by PIMR. ● Shall ensure that the pre-examination work such as time table, admit card, production of the set question paper, issuing of hall tickets etc. is timely done by the respective team members. ● Preparation and declaration of results and shall ensure that the post examination work such as grade sheet, transcript, degree certificate etc. is timely done. ● Shall undertake to digitalize entire examination and facilitate building insights on OBE & Overall improvement. ● Organize subject and course feedback and submit report to Group Director ● Regularly update the manual on SOPs for examinations and related matters. ● Conduct thesis viva - voce examinations. ● Responsible for proper documentation of the unused answer scripts, unused convocation certificates, unused degree certificates etc. ● Make comprehensive report for academic council on term end examination results and consequent actions thereon. ● Responsible to timely communicate any cancellation or postpone of any exams if the circumstances so warrant. ● Disciplinary action to be initiated against the student, paper setter, examiner, moderator or any other person connected with examination and found guilty of malpractices in relation to the examination. ● Responsible to take proper approvals before any actions as per Statutes/ Ordinance of the University. ● Implement and lead a continuous quality improvement process throughout service areas, focusing on systems/process improvement. Promote regular and ongoing opportunities for all staff to give feedback. ● Shall receive complaints and suggestions regarding improvement of COE function and consider them for appropriate action. Any other tasks assigned by Chairman and Group[ Director, Collaborations: Maintain and build trusted relationships with academic leaders, partners, and stakeholders Minimum Qualification and Experience ● Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks as per UGC Norms. ● More than 10 years of overall experience with at least 7 years of relevant experience in senior management positions.
