Area Sales Officer

Job Objective:
To ensure effective functioning of the Tata TISCON project sales and marketing function in alignment with business plans. To support in implementation of key interventions & initiatives as planned.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Sales
  • Gather customer database of contractors who are using primary steel in the respective assigned territory and to call customers as per the product knowledge and pitch prepared using the database to get introduced.
2.Learning
  • To develop practice and pitch the complete product knowledge in-front of the HOD and after the approval move to the market.
3. Sales Planning
  • Ensure achievement of sales and marketing plan as per (Monthly/Quarterly/Annually).
  • Decides on premium to be charged from customers in consultation with his supervisor
  • Undertakes customer visits as per plan to ensure proper market coverage and reach in territories to increase the customer base.
  • Performs lead generation and lead conversion as per plan and to maintain database.
  • Develop and achieve results as per funnel management process, maintain active database of key contractors and key govt. officials across assigned territories.
  • Undertake site visits ,develop insights ,highlight success stories , updates and make sales speech presentation to key customers ,influencers across territory to promote brand, product and group related information for business and brand development.
  • Demonstrate ability to resolve customer crisis and address it through cross functional efforts and bring satisfaction to the process.
  • Tract competitors information on business and collect sample of their products, pictures of sites, invoices, price list and to provide the same in MRM.
  • To introduce incentive schemes to key influencers to establish rapport and to generate business.
  • Weekly upgration of Google sheet.
  • Submission of CVR’s after client visit.
Qualification and Experience
  • Must be graduate
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Experience in Construction Industry/ Institutional Sales in the sector (Steel, Roofing, Cement, Plywood etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
