APPLICATION PACKAGING AND PATCHING-WSUS

A Senior resource with min 8-12 yrs of experience on automate desktop image deployments and create a standard Gold image , software bundling and distribution , automated patching on end points and servers and other infra devices across client environment on large enterprises.

Setup PXE (Pre-Execution Environment) to initiate the image deployment (Will also maintain other forms to deploy the image in case PXE fails)

Create and manage task sequences (Initiation, setting, OS deployment, domain registration, Application deployment, etc.) during OS image deployment

Define deployment methods (ZTI/LTI, USMT) and In-place upgrade, Refresh, Replace, New computer deployment using Microsoft End Point Manager

Troubleshooting the errors occurred during OS Deployment and patch cycles.

Deploying software and images to Customer's Laptops/Desktops

Maintain quality assurance best practices and control the quality of deliverables

Perform test on the newly build laptop/desktop before handing it to Customer's user

Create scripts (VBScript, Power Shell) as part of the image management /software deployment

Strictly follow the process defined by Customer for OS imaging, software deployment and patching on Laptops and Desktops

Create change tickets in Service Now for approvals to update the Gold image or deploy a patch on Customer's Laptops/Desktops

Need to have knowledge and working experience on image deployment and software distribution solutions like MS SCCM / SCOM/ MOM / MEDC.
In depth understanding and hand on automated patching, threat detection and remediation, software deployment, patch management, service-pack installation, asset management, remote control , setting up automated patching , software distribution policies and customized policies suitable to the customer infra environment.
Able to Manages laptops, desktops, smartphones, servers, and tablets from Windows, Mac OS, Linux, i OS, Android, tv OS, Chrome OS, and i Pad OS through these EUC tools and solutions.
