Training Specialist

Job Title: Training Specialist

About the Role: As a Training Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and delivering effective training programs that empower the Hong Kong admissions team and global admissions departments to achieve their highest potential. Working closely with teams across the US, UK, and global offices, you’ll be instrumental in onboarding, training, and supporting new and existing team members, ensuring that our admissions team remains at the forefront of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and delivery of comprehensive training modules for global admissions teams.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives to foster a high-performing admissions team.
  • Ensure compliance with partner university policies and maintain up-to-date process guides.
  • Collaborate with global admissions teams to ensure continuous development and training.
  • Mentor and guide team members, promoting a collaborative and growth-focused culture.
  • Manage and update key training resources, including Share Point databases.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, agents, and stakeholders.
  • Travel overseas to support global initiatives and cross-train within various departments.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree with experience in a customer-focused or international education environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with international education agents and knowledge of global admissions processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Desirable Skills:
  • 3 years’ experience in international student recruitment/admissions.
  • Experience in training and managing high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in a second language and familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong cultural awareness and experience living or working overseas.
