Let’s rule the seas together! – Thomas Bayard – Vice President, IM Solution Architect, HFM We are looking for an ambitious, experienced, and visionary Solution Architect for our HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) area within our Corporate Solutions domain. This position’s purpose is to be responsible for our future solution roadmap and architecture within the nominated area and to develop the solution landscape to support our strategic business targets. In this role, you would also be responsible for our finance consolidation development, platform capabilities and execution according to our commonly defined principles. We expect you to have strong technology competence in Hyperion (HFM) finance consolidation system, hands-on experience from change management and application administration tasks in the global environment. In this position you are working as the HFM team lead. Work is very independent and team intensive at the same time as you are communicating with our business stakeholders to get common understanding about requirements and a solution to be provided. There is also close co-operation with the Finance function stakeholders. You succeed in this role with a combination of solid Hyperion technology understanding and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities Solution ownership and development
Leading the Mac Gregor HFM solution architecture work and own the solution.
Responsible for Mac Gregor Hyperion application as well as interfaces/integrations to and from Hyperion.
HFM change management and application administration - Development and maintenance of the application. (including metadata, security, calculation rules, data conversions, interfaces to and from HFM etc.).
Building new and combining old. For example, application rebuilds, and cleaning and updating old structures.
Capable of building complex calculations and functionalities.
Support and train users globally and correspond to monthly maintenance tasks and change management.
Working closely with our stakeholders in Finance and IM functions.
Continuously seek opportunities to develop the HFM solution landscape to support business in its strategic targets.
Manage communication and prioritisation towards the stakeholders & create and maintain excellent relationships with the stakeholders
Skills and Experience We expect you to have the attitude of 'I am here to help you' and being a very process driven person. An experienced team player with broad technical IT knowledge and IT solution architectural experience. Good interpersonal and communication skills are a prerequisite. Readiness to bring the best practices and benchmarking opportunities from the industry to the business. As we are a dynamic organisation we expect you to adapt and respond to change rapidly. Skills and experience that would help you succeed in this role:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in suitable academic area, or equal experience.
Good practical knowledge of data warehousing (HFM / Hyperion).
Hands-on expertise in customising and readiness to manage configuration.
High ability to transfer business requirements into systems solutions.
Ability to design solutions based on enterprise level architectural guidelines.
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
A can-do attitude with a positive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues
