Solution Engineer in Defence, Finland

We are a team of technical specialists within a global, market-leading organisation, and working to implement our command-and-control software to support critical decision-making on the battlefield.
Deliver solutions to support critical decision-making on the battlefield
As a Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering and supporting our Sita Ware software products within our customers’ environments in Finland and the Baltic countries.
Working closely with colleagues and our customers, you will collaborate with project teams in Tampere and internationally. Your tasks will cover a broad range of responsibilities within areas such as solution design, configuration, installation, technical support, training and testing.
Your key tasks will include:
- implementing and supporting technical solutions as well as designing solutions
- ensuring alignment, effective communication and coordination with customers and colleagues within Systematic
- training and supporting our customers, both in classroom environments and during customer exercises and other events
- providing support to ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed scope and on time.
You will work out of Tampere, Finland, and should expect both domestic and occasional international travel to customer sites as well as visits to our company headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark. We offer a hybrid working model, providing flexibility with a blend of office-based and remote work.
Strong communicator with broad technical skills and experience
We are looking for a new team member with experience at delivering advanced software applications in customer environments. Whether you have a few years of experience or extensive expertise, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
To succeed in this role, you are a team player and a strong communicator in both Finnish (as native language) and English. Ideally, you also have:
- a relevant IT technical education
- preferably artillery or other military domain knowledge
- a flexible mindset, an independent and reliable work style combined with a self-starter approach to tasks and assignments
- a high willingness to travel, and you enjoy working in an agile and international environment.
You probably also have experience within some or all of the following: tactical communications systems, software development, IT infrastructure, software and system testing, training and delivering services and consultancy in the IT sector.
We work with security classified projects, and therefore, as a Systematic employee in Finland, you must have a clean criminal record and meet the relevant security check requirements.
