SAP Technical Architect
We are looking for an ambitious, experienced, and visionary SAP Technical Architect. In this role, you would be responsible for the technical ownership of Mac Gregor SAP platform technical architecture as well as roadmap execution based on business requirements according to our commonly defined principles. You would lead the technical development team, and ensure that the best development practices are followed across the different development initiatives, and oversee system performance and resource utilisation is done according to the optimal utilisation.
Key Responsibilities
You have strong technology competence and hands-on experience from project work and developing skills, and abilities to evaluate new SAP technologies and make recommendations for adoption, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of innovation.
In terms of personal attributes, a position holder must demonstrate the ability to gather and manage data, to work on own initiative, to be proactive and maintain a positive attitude. Also, ability to lead people in virtual teams is a must. Ability to work well under pressure, be natural at building internal and external networks, and capability of challenging and defending one’s work. You are fluent in spoken and written English

SAP Technical Architect

Key Responsibilities
- SAP platform development and being up to date with the latest news of technologies with knowledge to provide technical architecture analysis and technical designs.
- Lead the design of technical solutions for SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Advice on integrations from SAP point of view and promote similar technical approach for all systems that are integrated to SAP
- Working in multi vendor environment, define and manage sizing of the SAP solution and managing process with providers
- Operations architecture – Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning measures to optimise system performance and resource utilisation, and SAP Basis teamwork coordination by Investigating, planning and managing upgrades and support packages for ECC, PI, BW4HANA
- Enforce technical standards and guidelines for SAP implementations, ensuring consistency and quality across projects
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of SAP systems and processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and future reference(concept)

Skills and experience that would help you succeed in this role:
- Minimum 5 years of hands on experience with SAP technology and basis
- Minimum 3 years ABAP experience
- Integration understanding and experience in presenting integrating solutions built on different platforms, especially knowledge in SAP PI and Mulesoft areas is an advantage
- Experience in business process development and technical solution design
- Ability to design solutions based on enterprise level architectural guidelines
- A can-do attitude with a positive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues
- Salesforce understanding is advantage
- Knowing SAP S/4HANA ecosystem and associated architecture and roadmap is advantage
- SAP BW4HANA understanding is advantage
