We are looking for a Product Owner for Product Sustainability to manage a group of IT products within the Product Lifecycle Management domain.
Sustainability-focused products are becoming a core part of KONE’s solution offering, as we support our customers in building smarter and more sustainable cities. The IT products in this domain are essential for managing sustainability data and optimizing processes to meet the highest quality standards.
As the Product Owner, you will lead the design, development, and operation of IT products, with a strong focus on delivering business value, customer impact, and service quality. You will work closely with business stakeholders to define and continuously prioritize the outcomes delivered through these IT products, ensuring they align with business goals throughout the product lifecycle.
In this role, you will ensure that new services are developed efficiently, in line with product roadmaps, and by applying agile principles. You will also oversee the product lifecycle, monitoring performance and planning improvements based on feedback and results. Collaboration with other Product Owners, IT teams, and sustainability specialists will be key to driving success.
We are looking for candidates with a solid background in sustainability concepts, processes, or technologies, along with experience or interest in the Product Owner role, and experience working closely with technology or IT development.
You will report to the Product Manager for Product Lifecycle Management within the Supply Chain and Product Solutions IT unit. This position is based in Hyvinkää, Finland.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Minimum 10 year of experience
Work with a vision and product road maps
Build solution architecture for the product/s based on the target enterprise architecture that aligns with the company strategy
Manage and facilitate prioritization, complete ownership of the product backlog in JIRA
End-to end responsibility of quarterly planning with business teams and other stakeholders
Manage stakeholders and capture requirements
Collaborate closely with people across the organization to set the direction
Drive adoption and utilization of standard solutions to maximize business value
Budget and License management
What We’re Looking For:
Excellent communication skills - ability to collaborate, communicate and drive alignment in a global organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven experience in designing and managing IT systems to support material compliance and sustainability requirements of a large scale organization.
In-depth knowledge of product compliance regulations and standards, such as Ro HS, REACH, CE, etc.
High-level knowledge of product sustainability requirements in different countries
High-level knowledge of Lifecycle Analysis
Experience in working with agile methodologies
Experience in partnering with vendors to develop solutions
Self-driven and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to work independently
