Production Planning Manager
Your role and responsibilities
We are now looking for a new Production Scheduler to join our team at ABB Oy, IEC LV Motors in Vaasa where you will be responsible for controlling and coordinating several tasks related to our manufacturing processes. In this role you will drive production efficiency by creating and maintaining detailed production schedules, executing daily, plant-level materials requirement planning to meet delivery schedules and ensure on time delivery to all customers. Additionally, you will get to work in co-operation with several functions within the organization. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Releasing motor orders to production • Ensuring appropriate workload in production • Updating and following the capacity and lead times of assembly lines • Implementing development projects in collaboration with different functions within the organization • Handling internal notifications (Quality, modifications of motors, material corrections etc.) • Understanding and updating of production schedules • Maintaining optimize inventory levels for finished goodsQualifications for the role
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree from a relevant field (such as Engineering or Industrial management)
- Relevant work experience from an industrial environment
- Demonstrated experience working on a production line with understanding of daily production operations
- Collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Systematic and analytical working style with the ability to document your work
- Excellent Finnish and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of SAP PP and MS Office tolls (such as Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Ability to work independently and make decision on prioritizing daily tasks and different projects.
