Order Delivery Coordinator
The Underground Drilling Division within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is an industry leading global provider of drilling equipment for the underground mining and tunneling industry. Our focus is on technology development and innovative solutions to enable sustainable operations for our customers. Tampere Site is a global technology and manufacturing center for Underground Drilling equipment.
Our Order Desk is now looking for an Order Delivery Coordinator to join our team in Tampere. The position is temporary replacement for one of our team members who is currently gaining new experiences in an internal job rotation. Contract will be ending at the end of September 2025.
Your role
We are looking for an Order Delivery Coordinator to assist with both handling incoming orders for equipment, as well as handling outbound material flow for equipment and components.
Your key responsibilities

At first your daily tasks include organizing transports for equipment and components around the globe and monitoring the transportation from order to delivery.

Evaluating and choosing the correct transport methods for each shipment fulfilling the customer needs as well as commercial requirements.

Preparing export documentation and invoices in compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.

At later stage your tasks may also include receiving and processing customer orders for mining and tunneling equipment, validating both commercial and technical data of orders.

Communicating and providing information to both internal and external stakeholders, supporting global sales organization and working in close co-operation with production planning and packing department as well as other supply chain functions.

Participating to an on-going multi-site manufacturing project.
Your background and what we find important
You have a suitable educational background in commercial, supply chain management or logistics field. We expect you to have an understanding and experience on international trade and/or order - delivery processes. Experience in order handling, delivery documentation, invoicing, customs and/or transportation is seen as an advantage, as well as experience on using SAP S4/HANA.
Your English and Finnish language skills are fluent, both written and spoken, as you will be communicating daily with both languages.
You can work independently, as well as a member of a team. Succeeding in this position requires good team working and organizing skills, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
