THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As the Head of Product for this team, you would be responsible for building and scaling (a) the overall experience for our partners after onboarding (e.g. partner offers, pricing, orders, logistics) as well as (b) shaping partner experience in order to boost customer NPS. Basically ensuring that partners are able to provide the best possible product and fulfillment experience for our customers.
We want to build products that make our partner successful, help them manage their business better, and simplify the work they need to do to be successful.
And ensure that partners do it in way that improve the overall experience Zalando as a business is able to provide to our end customers.

Create intuitive and seamless partner experience: We aspire to the platform that partners find the most intuitive and seamless to use. We need to prioritize ease of operations across all partner types, and access channels (E.g. web, API. apps) to drive partner success
Iterative mindset / growth mindset: it often takes multiple iterations to find the capabilities that matter. We would want you to have an iterative and an experimentative mindset (pivoted around qualitative and quantitative research to hypothesis building), to find those capabilities that really stick and drive the required outcome.
Customer first / Partner first - To build the best possible customer and partner experience, we need to have our ears constantly open to partner and buyer feedback, and be comfortable changing our plans when we believe something is working or not working basis new cues that come in.
Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure foundational products support their initiatives. Stay abreast of industry trends, implementing innovative solutions to keep our products at the forefront of technology.
Prioritize User Experience and Compliance: Ensure all foundational products provide an excellent user experience and comply with relevant regulations and standards. Implement security measures to protect data and communication channels.
Mentor and Report: Lead and develop a high-performing team of product managers and engineers. Define and deliver against key performance indicators (KPIs), regularly report progress to senior leadership, and continuously seek improvements based on feedback and performance data.

Team Leadership: Several years of experience leading and managing product teams, with a proven track record of guiding experts in developing portal frameworks, communication platforms, and data platforms.
Strong Data/Quantitative Skills: You have a proven ability to navigate and interpret large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and insights that lead to actionable recommendations.
