Lead Software Developer, Order Management and Orchestration

Tec Hub is Posti’s competence center that employs nearly 160 IT professionals. We specialize in areas such as software development, quality assurance, architecture, cloud platforms, integration platforms and development tools. Our task is to promote Posti’s digital innovations and to ensure that appropriate technological expertise and tailored solutions are always available for the needs of both our internal and external customers.
We are currently seeking a Lead Software Developer for our Order Management and Orchestration domain!
The person we are looking for to join our team has a strong background in developing high-quality backend services with Python and AWS, with Java being a significant plus. In this position, you will play a key role in our operational applications. Part of your application and team responsibilities will involve orchestrating events, parcels, route planning, tracking, and more. You will be working closely with our product owners and domain owners, extending beyond a single team or service.

What do we expect from you?
- Experience in backend software development. Our tech stack is: Python, Java and AWS.
- Experience with various areas of the software development life cycle, starting from requirements gathering to software development, building, testing, deploying, security, and maintenance
- Experience in leading or managing teams
- You are well versed in software architecture and best practices
- You get extra points for experience in any of the following technologies/concepts: Java, AWS Cloud Formation, Kafka, event-driven architecture, App Sync, Graph QL
- Familiarity with the parcel and logistics industry is considered an advantage
