Data Engineering Team Lead
Are you a new Team Lead at Siili?
We are looking for a new Team Lead to join the Data, AI & Automation community in Helsinki, Joensuu, Jyväskylä, Oulu, and Tampere.
The Team Lead role combines two important responsibilities – leading the team and being a consultant.
In this role, you will inspire and lead an experienced team of data engineers by your own example. You will be responsible for the well-being and professional development of a team of about 10 data engineers, and you are all part of the Data, AI & Automation Community. Additionally, you will get involved in data & AI related development work in our clients' various projects, based on your own specific competence and interest. You will succeed in this role if you have:
- Hands-on coding experience with data-intensive coding solutions in languages such as Python, R, Scala, Node.js, C#, Java
- Experience with Cloud platforms, for example Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
- Experience or passion for learning data modelling methods like Data Vault 2.0
- Experience with Data warehouse automation
- Experience or passion working with modern data warehouse solutions like Snowflake
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker for data analysis and reporting
- Experience with SQL Databases
- Interest in Machine Learning or experience in machine learning
- Previous experience in diverse client projects and consulting
- Fluent Finnish language skills and also proficiency in English
