Stats Bomb was founded in January 2017 to provide data, analytics, and consultancy to football clubs, media, and sports betting companies. Stats Bomb continually undertake new research and is well-known in the analytics industry for providing unique insights into the game of football. We have developed our own proprietary industry-leading data collection and analytics software with a user-friendly high-vis front end.
Stats Bomb has grown from our initial team of 3 at the start of 2017 to over 1000 employees based in the UK, US, and Egypt, and we are continuing to grow and expand our operation. We currently process over 600 games per week across 80 European and American leagues, with over 30 million events daily, and cover more than 80 leagues globally.
We're a football analytics SAAS business that is scaling rapidly. Likewise, we sell data products as well as analysis tools to sports organizations, with a tech stack that includes computer vision, machine learning, stream processing, and web-based data viz. Furthermore, we count many of the biggest names in football as customers, and your work will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver insights to those customers, driving success on the field and in the media space, and driving fan engagement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure the staffing needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind
Design and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.) to ensure a positive experience
Create job descriptions, competencies, and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
Drive the offer and negotiation process
Keep records of all materials used for recruitment, including an interview
Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
Collect and analyze HR data and all other relevant information necessary to produce key recruitment reports, documents, and plans.
Communicate company and position details to new hires before their start date
Gathering the necessary paperwork and Onboarding new employees.
Requirements:
1+ years of proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role in a mass hiring environment
Excellent English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract suitable applicants.
Good experience in report writing and presenting findings
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
