ROLE SUMMARY
STAT & TAX Associate Manager is to lead a small team in preparing and delivering statutory financial statements for different companies/Countries. The successful candidate will manage his/her team within Globa Solutions, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of statutory financial statements and TAX for multiple countries, including Egypt, KSA, UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, and others. ROLE PROFILE
- Lead and manage a team responsible for preparing statutory financial statements and TAX requirements for multiple countries.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including accounting, tax, and legal teams, to gather relevant data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review and validate financial data, ensuring adherence to international accounting standards and local statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the completion of statutory audits and resolve any audit queries or issues.
- Manage the relationship with external auditors remotely from the shared service center, ensuring effective communication and timely provision of requested information.
- Coordinate and prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.
- Support the tax team in preparing tax filings and responding to tax audit requests.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience 5 -7 years as an external auditor within the big 4 audit firms.
- A professional accounting qualification with Dip IFRS or others.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and local statutory requirements in relevant countries.
- Experience in managing the relationship with external auditors and facilitating remote audits.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
