**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in acute care, pediatrics, and hospitals, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care. **Duties:** - Conduct assessments to diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders - Provide therapy to individuals or groups to help them improve their communication skills - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to provide comprehensive patient care - Maintain detailed records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed - Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication outside of therapy sessions **Qualifications:** - Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology - Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) - State licensure or eligibility for state licensure - Experience in acute care, pediatrics, or hospital settings preferred - Knowledge of case management principles - Strong interpersonal and communication skills This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and make a meaningful impact on their lives through effective communication therapy.
