Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes identifying potential risks, assessing vulnerabilities, and creating plans to mitigate security threats.
Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and best practices. This includes developing protocols for access control, incident response & emergency preparedness.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop risk mitigation strategies. This involves evaluating physical security measures, information security controls, and operational procedures to minimize risks and protect against threats.
Incident Management: Develop and implement an effective incident response plan to handle security incidents such as breaches, thefts, or unauthorized access. This includes coordinating with relevant stakeholders, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future incidents, Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and related documentation. Prepare reports and presentations on security metrics, trends, and recommendations for senior management.
Develop and deliver security training programs to educate employees on security protocols, best practices, and emergency procedures. Promote security awareness throughout the organization to foster a culture of vigilance and responsibility.
Manage security operations, including the deployment and supervision of security personnel, monitoring of security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control), and coordination with external security service providers. Ensure the effective functioning of security systems and processes to maintain a secure environment.
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies, vendors, and clients, to establish partnerships and information-sharing networks. Coordinate security efforts with relevant stakeholders to enhance overall security posture.
Stay updated with relevant security regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to data protection, privacy, and security.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures, identify gaps or weaknesses, and recommend improvements. This includes reviewing security controls, conducting penetration testing, and monitoring security performance metrics.
