Procurement Analytics Manager | Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions | Finance
ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Procurement Analytics Lead, the Procurement Analytics Manager will play a critical role in Data Analysis, Reporting and Finance Business Partnering for the Procurement team. This position is a key member of the Global Solutions Finance team, working closely with the Senior leadership team and Operating Companies teams to provide critical financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
ROLE PROFILE
Manage and maintain the procurement database ensuring clean and accurate data is available.
Drive the team to deliver and constantly improve insightful reporting to deliver real time data and insights for the business; in order to provide procurement with the information required to meet strategy and budget requirements.
Work with relevant stakeholders in the Procurement Team to understand additional reporting requirements and help the team to develop a comprehensive catalogue of Power BI reports; ensuring that stakeholders across the business have access to the data.
Track the team’s internal & external audit requests for procurement, ensuring that internal deadlines are being met and that no audit points become overdue; this will involve overseeing the associate manager of the team who will lead this process.
Take initiative to analyse the Procurement data such as the spend profile and supplier spend breakdown to identify improvement opportunities for procurement; and regularly present this to the procurement team and wider business.
Be the key point of contact for the Procurement Analytics Lead, by having a comprehensive understanding of the team’s workload and deadlines, and ensuring that the team are producing accurate, insightful and timely reporting each month.
Mentor and guide the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Have oversight of the data migration process and help the team to ensure that procurement data is migrated to the new system accurately and efficiently from existing systems.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance and Data analytics in a reputable company, preferably Retail / Real Estate.
Professional Qualification in Finance / Accounting (CIMA/ACCA/CA) OR data analytics.
Knowledge of Sequel, Power Query, Python, Power BI.
Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills.
Ability to guide and train more junior members of the team.
