Role Overview: Petro App is looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Media Buyer to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Media Buyer, you will be responsible for planning, negotiating, and purchasing advertising space across various platforms to maximize reach and effectiveness for our campaigns. Your analytical skills will play a crucial role in tracking the performance of media buys and ensuring we are utilizing our budget effectively. You’ll collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand campaign goals and target audiences, and then apply your expertise to select the best channels and tactics for success. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, negotiate, and purchase media space across various platforms to reach targeted audiences.
Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of media campaigns and adjust strategies to optimize ROI.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure messaging aligns with the overall marketing strategy.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify additional opportunities for media buys.
Prepare reports and presentations on the performance of media campaigns to share with senior management.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring the best possible rates and placements.
Requirements Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in media buying or a related role, preferably within the Saa S or technology sector.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Proficiency in media buying tools and analytics platforms.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with digital advertising platforms, including social media and PPC, is a plus.
Demonstrates competency in data analytics, crucial for optimizing media campaigns is a plus.
Candidates with the following certifications will be given preference:
IAB Digital Media Buying & Planning Certification (DBPC) - Validates knowledge in digital media buying practices.
Meta Certified Media Buying Professional - Recognizes advanced proficiency in Facebook and Instagram advertising.
Certified Internet Marketer (CIM) - Provides foundational knowledge in internet marketing strategies.
Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate.
