Your Role
As a Gensler Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will have broad responsibilities across multiple countries, leading HR initiatives and partnering closely with leadership in Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. You will work with local HR Partners to ensure consistent implementation of HR programs and strategies, aligned with regional and global goals. As a trusted advisor, you will support leadership on key people-related matters, enhance employee experience, and lead regional HR operations. You will collaborate with the local HR Partners to create a cohesive, high-performing HR function.
What You Will Do
- Provide strategic HR leadership and guidance to local HR Partners in each country (Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, and Dominican Republic).
- Collaborate with executive leadership to address people matters, including performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning.
- Oversee the implementation of regional HR programs, including compensation, benefits, and talent development, ensuring alignment with corporate policies.
- Lead HR meetings, create reports, and coordinate staffing and mobility across the region.
- Support the entire employee life cycle, from onboarding to exit, including transfers, relocations, and visa processes.
- Partner with local HR Partners to ensure HRIS data accuracy, perform audits, and generate critical HR reports.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations in each country, while advocating best practices and employee experience improvements.
- Lead efforts to streamline HR processes across borders, driving operational efficiency in a matrixed environment.
- Act as a liaison between regional HR teams and global HR functions (Talent Development, Talent Acquisition) to promote cohesive HR strategies.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field required.
- 10+ years of HR experience, preferably in a regional role managing multiple countries.
- Proven experience leading HR teams or partners in a Professional Services environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws across Latin America, including Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic.
- Demonstrated ability to lead HR operations in a complex, matrixed environment with diverse teams.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with Workday and Taleo preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic regional environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and advising senior leadership on people matters.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish; additional language skills (Portuguese) a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization and across global teams.
