Your role at Baxter
Are you ready to take your career to new heights? Look no further! We have an exceptional opportunity for a Specialist, Indirect Procurement at Baxter Healthcare Corporation, a world-class leader in the healthcare industry.
What you'll be doing

Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect goods and services
-
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers
-
Work closely with colleagues from different departments to identify and define procurement needs and requirements.

Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms
-
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise
-
Manage procurement contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
-
Continuously identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
-
Stay updated on current trends and effective strategies in indirect procurement
What you'll need
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.

Proven experience in indirect procurement, preferably in the IT industry

Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

Ambitious and self-motivated with a drive for success

Strict adherence to ethical standards and compliance regulations
