As Manufacturing Excellence Leader, you will help the region in building the strategic plan to drive excellence in end-to-end manufacturing KPIs & build the targets for the region. This includes OEE, Waste, cost, resource optimization etc. You along with team will work on sharing the best practices, conducting Ops excellence workshops & connecting teams for using the resources across region effectively for improvement projects & horizontal deployment of initiatives across region. Yours will be a managerial role with two direct reports engaging across Enterprise Market (EM) countries. You will work with Ops, Engineering & CI Leaders in identifying the right benchmarks & provide the external help if required. You are expected to create opportunities through efficiency across region to get additional capacity without capital investment.
In this role, you will: Strategic direction in operational excellence
Develop and lead short/long term manufacturing excellence plan and road map for EM sites. Define strategic vision for EM in key operational Areas - Lean Six-Sigma, Reliability and OPEX.
Lead the Supply chain target setting process in EM along with key stakeholders.
Provide directions to mill for manufacturing excellence assessment. Guide & support yearly mill Continuous Improvement process in planning & execution.
Act as a regional point of contact to ensure mills are prepared & internally audited for SOX audits.
Bring harmonization in global and regional operations practices to maximize mills potential.
Support digital manufacturing roadmap to bring APAC operational Closer to industry 4.0
Productivity Improvement
Manage Supply chain and Manufacturing Score cards and keep track of KPIs performance.
Support mills to improve OEE and waste by leading CI programs through OPEX/LEAN /TPM.
Identify the process & reliability improvements across mills. Make an improvement plans with mill managers & take consensus with SCDs to implement them.
Set a review process to track performance & plan interventions.
Cost & other improvements
Influence and drive regional cost bench marking strategy to reduce conversion cost by deep diving each cost elements with Mill teams and work on the opportunities.
Support DTV / Complexity reduction and Spec harmonization workshop and provide guidance to R&D, procurement, logistics and marketing team to deliver best cost option products.
Work closely with safety & Quality teams to identify opportunities to drive improvements.

10+ years of combined experience across R&E, supply chain, and operations.
Expert project/ initiatives management experience driving complex global projects/initiatives engaging multiple global internal and external functional teams to successful completion.
Effective and influential communication. Must be able and willing to travel 10-20% regionally & internationally without supervision.
Ability to manage large number of stakeholders both upwards, downwards & across. Effective, consistent global communications and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to influence results through data analysis & convincing arguments to drive consensus.
Experience in manufacturing processes & initiative management.
Strategic thinking with a focus on change management and continuous improvement.
